Southern Kurdish Handwritten Notes Transliteration
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am working on an academic study that relies on a stack of handwritten Southern Kurdish notes. I need each page read carefully and rendered into a consistent, scholarly transliteration so the material can be searched, quoted and analysed alongside other corpus data.
The handwriting is clear in most places but there are occasional abbreviations and regional spellings; whenever a word is uncertain I would like you to flag it rather than guess. I plan to use a Latin-based system (UniPers or a comparable linguistic standard) and the final text must retain the original line breaks and page numbers so citations stay reliable.
Deliverables
• UTF-8 text files, one per page, faithfully transliterated
• A change-log of any illegible or ambiguous segments, referenced by page and line
If you have previous experience with Southern Kurdish orthography and enjoy meticulous linguistic work, I would be glad to hear how quickly you could handle roughly 40 pages and what approach you take to quality control.
