Ancient History Game Localization Needed

Job ID: 40531821

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m deep into building a large-scale adventure that moves players through Egyptian, Greek, and Roman eras, and I want every phrase on screen to feel native to each audience. To get there I need skilled linguists who can translate all text into Portuguese, Spanish, and Tagalog while keeping the tone consistent with the period and the excitement of modern gameplay.

Here’s what is waiting for you once we start. The script includes branching in-game dialogue, short UI labels, tooltips, and a handful of promotional blurbs. Everything is stored in straightforward CSV files generated from Unity’s localization package, so you’ll be able to work in any CAT tool you prefer or even directly in the spreadsheet. Historical accuracy is crucial: gods, pharaohs, philosophers, legionnaires—names and references must stay authentic, but the language has to flow naturally for contemporary players.

Deliverables
• Complete Portuguese, Spanish, and Tagalog versions of all current strings (≈15 k words)
• A brief context or “translator’s note” wherever literal translation might be misleading
• Returned in the same CSV structure so our continuous-integration pipeline can drop them straight back into the build

Acceptance will be based on:
• Zero clipped text or overflow in UI mock-ups
• Consistent terminology across dialogue, menus, and promo copy
• A quick spot-check by native reviewers on our side for fluency and historical fidelity

If this sounds like a challenge you’d enjoy, let’s talk schedules and get your sample section assigned right away.
