Medical Data Linear Regression
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have an Excel workbook that captures a range of medical measurements and patient outcomes. My goal is to run a thorough statistical examination, focusing specifically on linear regression. I need to understand how one key predictor variable relates to a single continuous outcome and to quantify both the strength and direction of that relationship.
You will work directly in Excel—leveraging native functions or the Analysis ToolPak—to:
• Clean or verify the dataset so the regression uses complete, valid entries only
• Generate the full linear regression output (coefficients, R-squared, p-values, residual diagnostics)
• Create clear, well-labeled charts that illustrate the fitted line and any notable patterns in residuals
• Summarize the practical meaning of each statistic in plain language so I can communicate the findings to clinicians
Acceptance criteria:
1. An updated Excel file with all formulas intact and no broken links
2. A short narrative (250–400 words) inside a separate sheet called “Interpretation” explaining the results and any limitations
3. At least one scatterplot with the regression line plus a residual plot, formatted for easy printing
The underlying data is already organized; I simply want a solid, defensible linear regression analysis and a concise explanation that withstands peer review.
