Company Analysis
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Students must submit via email an excel file with calculations and a .doc or .pdf file with the written report. Projects submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
Project Valuation:
a. Consider two listed UAE company engaging in a recent capital expenditure decision.
b. Discuss the project and conduct a financial analysis of both Companies.
c. Calculate the free cash flow of both the firm.
d. Forecast future cashflows by calculating the growth based on the FCFF.
e. Apply the models and methods: CAPM, WACC, Dividend Discount Model
f. If bonds are issued, calculate at what rate, bonds sell for face value.
g. Track the stock price for the past five years and dividends paid.
h. Calculate the stock’s rate of return and compare them with each other.
i. Do a Regression analysis of the financials for both firms
j. Give your opinion.
