Natural Gas Mixed Integer Linear Programming

E&P is facing a major environmental issue as it happens the associated gas produced with
oil especially with the increase of mature oil reservoirs. Often natural gas was considered
"dirt and cheap" at the wellhead. In fact associated gas was flared (combustion) and/or
vented with no value consideration. Hence, a management system is required.
The physical system model is known and the main tasks of the freelancer are two:
1. propose an appropriate mathematical (mixed integer) model by clearly stating:
• Sets
• Parameters
• Decision variables
• Objective functions
• Constraints
2. Solve the MILP using Gurobi (Anaconda Jupyter)
