YouTube Shoot Setup Assistant Needed
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
A Beta Squad / Sidemen-style YouTube episode is locked in for Saturday, 29 November 2025, right in central London. I’ll have the main kit—two mirrorless bodies, mics, lights, and tripods—but I need one reliable pair of hands for about four to five hours to get everything rigged quickly and smoothly before we roll.
Your primary role is set-up assistance: unloading gear, positioning lights, running cables, syncing audio, and making sure the space is shoot-ready. If you’re happy to jump on a spare camera once things are rolling, great—that flexibility will definitely help the day run faster—but it isn’t mandatory.
What I’m looking for
– a second hand man to be on shoot to help with basics
– Confidence with the basics of lighting and audio placement; I’ll guide the finer points.
– Punctuality. Call time will be 09:30 and we wrap before mid-afternoon.
When you apply, tell me about your on-set experience that’s most relevant to quick set-ups or similar online content. If you have a short reel or links that prove you’ve been hands-on with lighting and general rigging, add those. If you have very little expeince give me a ring anyway.
I have to move fast on this, so I’ll confirm the assistant as soon as the right person shows up in my inbox. Looking forward to working together and turning a modest shoot into something that looks premium on screen.
