Interactive TouchDesigner Project

It is an art installation (a play on stage without live actors, only cloths hanged on stage) that involves different elements... I need to control the sewing machines (i managed through QLC+) I need to score the composition, create the scenes. and manage the operation (or maybe have a ready MIDI file from composer for the sewing machines) I would like to test the operation of the sewing machines in different modes - long sound at slow speed, long sound at high speed, acceleration and deceleration, short sounds, etc.

I have the Dimmer contour 1216 - zero88 and Enttec DMX USB Pro MK2 Interface
on actual set up there will be different dimmer (Botex DPX-1210T NET)

Lights: (we need to light the speaking clothes on stage)
either 1- Connect 8 normal spotlights and program them according to the scenes, that can be done with Arduino (micro controller)
Or 2- moving head spotlights and program them with DMX.

I would like to have a knowledge on how to do the sync between (different audio channels, the sewing machines and the lights) through TouchDesigner
How to trigger the Arduino or control the normal lights.

In general I need to know how to do it, it's about 30 minutes show.

I am interested in TouchDesigner because i am interested of interactive work and i think it is a good start for me to do some simple installation/project to get around TouchDesigner
