Modern Kitchen-Dining-Living Area Redesign

We are looking to redesign the downstairs layout of our home to improve flow, openness, and functionality — especially in the kitchen/living area.

Our goals are:
- Open up the kitchen visually and functionally
- Add a large island that becomes the centerpiece of the space
- Improve circulation and sight lines throughout the downstairs
- Create a more modern, high-end feel while still being warm and livable
- Maximize natural light and openness
- Improve storage and kitchen usability
- Better connect the kitchen, dining, and living areas for entertaining and family use

We are open to removing non-structural walls and rethinking the layout entirely if it improves the overall flow.

We’d like help with:
- Space planning/layout optimization
- Kitchen island configuration
- Cabinet/appliance placement
- Traffic flow
- Lighting recommendations
- Modern design direction/material palette
- Renderings or visual mockups

We already have measurements/photos/floor plan references available and would love to collaborate on multiple layout concepts before finalizing a direction.
