I already have a clear floor plan that shows where every large item sits, plus a Pinterest board brimming with inspiration. What I still need is a cohesive Modern Classic scheme to tie everything together—from the full living room and kitchen through the hall, both bedrooms and their bathrooms, right up to the terrace and roof garden.
The look must stay firmly in the Modern Classic lane: a neutral colour palette throughout, with lighting that feels equally calm and balanced. I’m happy to consider luxurious materials or subtle architectural details if they support that understated elegance, but the key is a harmonious mix that makes shopping and finishing straightforward.
Here’s what I expect back:
• A mood-board (or similar) for each area, showing colour direction, sample finishes and suggested materials
• Paint codes, fabric references, flooring choices and any trim or hardware recommendations so I can purchase locally without guesswork
• A lighting concept that keeps tones neutral yet layered—fixtures, bulb specs and placement notes
• Furniture and décor suggestions for the pieces not already fixed in the plan
• 3-D visualisations or styled elevations for the main spaces so I can see the final feel before committing
Use any design software you prefer—SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or even Canva for boards—so long as the files are easy to view and the measurements remain accurate. When finished I should be able to walk into a store (or order online) with a confident list of colours, finishes, fixtures and accessories, knowing they will all sit together in a single, refined Modern Classic story.
