Maintain Commercial Lighting Systems
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a qualified electrician to carry out maintenance on the lighting systems in our commercial space. The job is strictly maintenance-focused; I’m not looking for a fresh installation or a formal inspection at this stage.
Scope of work
• Diagnose and repair any faulted fixtures, ballasts, or wiring that affect the current lighting performance.
• Replace lamps or components that are near end-of-life to prevent downtime.
• Verify that all lighting circuits meet current safety codes and correct any issues you encounter.
• Provide a concise service report outlining the work completed, parts used, and any follow-up recommendations.
The building stays operational during regular business hours, so you’ll need to coordinate work in a way that minimizes disruption for staff and customers. Standard commercial safety procedures and lock-out/tag-out practices are expected.
If you have recent experience maintaining commercial lighting systems and the tools to handle everything from fluorescent to LED fixtures, I’d like to hear how soon you can start and how long you anticipate the job will take.
