Condominium Lighting Design & Layout Plan
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are seeking an experienced electrical or lighting design professional to prepare a full lighting layout plan for a newly approved condominium development. The project consists of a multi-unit residential building, and architectural plans (PDF) are provided.
You will be working directly off the approved construction drawings to propose:
Strategic lighting placement across all units and common areas
Fixture types and specifications (e.g., LED, recessed, sconces, etc.)
Notes for switch locations, dimming options, and energy-efficient solutions
Recommendations that comply with local electrical codes (New York)
Provided Materials:
Full set of approved construction drawings in PDF format (attached after awarding)
Room dimensions, ceiling heights, and layouts included in the plans
What You Need to Deliver:
Annotated lighting layout (PDF and CAD)
Fixture schedule/spec list
Installer notes (for wiring and switch placements)
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in residential lighting design
Understanding of NYC electrical code and energy compliance
Ability to work from architectural drawings
CAD skills to provide overlays
