Christian Meditation and Health Room - Interior Design
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I’m turning a 7 m × 4 m × 2.5 m window-less basement room into a warm, inviting sanctuary for meditation and health therapies (occasional massage sessions for up to two people at once). The overall vibe I’m after is “medieval Italian chapel meets contemporary wellness studio”: old stone-looking walls, cosy indirect lighting, discreet hardwood flooring, and subtle tech touches such as wall-mounted TV screens for calming imagery.
What I need from you is a complete interior design concept that I can hand directly to local trades:
– Floor plan and furniture/layout proposal showing circulation, two treatment/meditation zones, and any recommended room dividers
– Mood board and material palette that covers faux or reclaimed stone treatments, the specific hardwood flooring, lighting fixtures (LED strips, sconces, etc.), and any acoustic solutions to keep the space hushed
– 3D renders or detailed visualisations that capture the warm and inviting atmosphere in both daylight-simulated and low-light settings
– Lighting scheme with fixture specs, colour temperature, dimming ideas, and cable routing tips (remember: no natural light, low ceiling)
– Tech integration notes for the TV screens: placement, concealed wiring, and suggested content backdrop settings
– Bill of quantities / shopping list with European suppliers wherever possible
Please base your work on commonly available materials and fixtures; I’m open to creative alternatives as long as they stay true to the warm-stone-and-wood aesthetic. If you’ve designed wellness or sacred spaces before, I’d love to see examples. Let’s create a retreat that instantly makes visitors forget they’re in a basement.
