AI-Assisted Stage Lighting Design Collaboration

Seeking Stage Lighting Designer to Collaborate on AI-Driven Lighting System (Toronto-Based Preferred)

Description:
We’re building Auditorium AI — an intelligent, plug-and-play lighting system for small to mid-sized stages, designed to automate beautiful light shows without needing a full tech crew.

We’re looking for experienced lighting designers (live music, theatre, dance, or events) to help us:

Review our initial lighting sequences

Test AI-assisted transitions and timing

Advise on fixture placement and venue adaptability

Potentially participate in pilot installations at Toronto venues

Create 1–2 basic show templates with intelligent design logic

Ideal Candidate:

Strong experience with DMX-based lighting systems (Sharpies, PARs, Washes, etc.)

Familiar with QLC+, GrandMA, Lightkey, or similar

Bonus: Experience with AI, automation, or generative lighting tools

Based in Toronto or GTA (preferred but not required)

Deliverables:

Provide creative feedback on automated lighting patterns

Collaborate on 1 live or virtual test run

Help shape our system to serve lighting designers and performers better alike
