US wording changes for a UK based contract

I have an agreement (6 pages) that was written in Britain and I need to use it in the US. I need to make sure this agreement makes sense and can be legally used in the US. A few words may need to be changed for spelling to be used in the US as well. (I will provide the document if you are interested and want to estimate the effort)
