removing a lodger from my home

I need to remove a lodger from my home as soon as possible. The reason for wanting to remove them is that they have reached the end of the time that we allow lodgers. This agreement - an 'occupancy' agreement - outlines that the lodger can leave without notice, and that we can ask them to leave anytime. I need to have the lodger removed by the end of August, so I am looking for a freelancer who can help to make that happen. This person has gone to the county legal aid for seniors and a staff attorney has sent a letter stating that we can't ask them to leave without 'evicting' them through the proper chanels. I have researched 'lodging law' and we can absolutely ask them to go anytime. A written 30 day notice to leave was given to them on 8/2/23.
