I have dispute with a electrican who has not completed the work but requiring payment of invoice to be made in advance before he complete the work. I have made two progress payment out of total 3 payment. No certificate of compliance is issued yet, no power supply to the property, the work has defect, some power points have no power connection, termination point has no double BP to comply with standard, overcut the holes in the wall that need repair, and more items to be completed. The electrican has submitted the invoice and demanded the full payment of the third invoice before complete the work. I found contractor submit invoice with ABN number does not match with business name.
