I need a German contract lawyer
Budget: €18 – €36 EUR
I am an employee working for a company in Freiburg. I have resigned 2 months ago and I am leaving the company end of June due to my notice period.
I need to return a part of my sign in Bonus. I do not know German and my contract was written both in German and in English (translated by the same company that sent it to me). In the English version, it says that I should return the bonus minus applicable witholdings, which I understand as the gross minus any retentions. This last part has been ommitted in the German side of the contract and the company is asking me for the total gross instead of the net given that at the end of the contract it says that the german version shall prevail and that applicable with holdings does not necessarily mean taxes.
