I am seeking a freelancer to work on an assignment to perform a USPTO patent search, drafting, submission, and responding to actions for a utility patent.
Skills and Experience:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in USPTO patent search and drafting
- Familiarity with the process of submitting a patent application and responding to office actions
- Strong understanding of utility patents and the requirements for successful patent applications
- Ability to conduct a thorough search of prior art references and analyze their relevance to the invention
- Experience in working with clients who have a prototype ready for patenting.
- Engineer degree in mechanical, electrical, or related field.
a) E05B39/04 Locks giving an indication of authorized or unauthorized unlocking with counting or registering devices,
b)B65D90/54 Gates or closures, and
c)G08B13/00 Burglar, theft, or intruder alarms
Tasks to be completed:
1. Conduct a comprehensive patent search based on the prior art references provided
2. Draft a high-quality utility patent application that meets USPTO requirements
3. Assist in the submission of the patent application and ensure all necessary documents are included
4. Provide guidance and support in responding to office actions, addressing any objections or rejections from the USPTO
