We are a growing business looking for a freelance trademark attorney/agent to help us with the registration of our logo. The ideal candidate will have experience in trademark law, particularly in the area of logo registration, and be familiar with the process of filing a trademark application.
Responsibilities:
Conduct a trademark search to ensure that the logo doesn't infringe on any existing trademarks.
Determine the appropriate trademark classification for the logo.
Prepare and file a trademark application for the logo with the relevant trademark office.
Respond to any office actions or examination reports that may arise during the trademark registration process.
Monitor the progress of the trademark application and keep the client informed of any updates.
