Texas Bar Grievance & Discovery Support

Job ID: 40374073

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

I’m looking for a senior-level paralegal who can step in immediately on a civil matter pending here in Texas. Your main focus will be threefold:

• Filing Texas Bar Grievances – You will draft, assemble, and electronically submit grievance packets to the State Bar of Texas. I already have the factual outlines; you’ll refine the narrative, attach exhibits, track filing confirmations, and calendar follow-up dates.

• Discovery trial preparation – The case is entering an intensive discovery phase. I need precise document review and organization: bates-stamping, privilege flagging, and building a searchable index so I can pull any exhibit in seconds at deposition or trial.

• Legal research and documentation – When novel civil issues crop up, I’ll rely on you to research Texas case law, prepare concise research memos, and generate supporting citations that can drop straight into motions or responses.

You should already be comfortable with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, the State Bar grievance process, and common litigation tools such as Relativity, Concordance, or a similar document-management platform. Remote work is fine as long as confidentiality is airtight; I’ll provide secure portal access for all files.

Deliverables I expect:
1. A finalized grievance packet for each attorney complained of, with confirmation of State Bar receipt.
2. A fully indexed, searchable discovery binder (PDF and native), organized by document type and production date.
3. Brief research memos (no more than two pages each) on issues I assign, delivered within agreed timelines.

Work begins as soon as you’re cleared on an NDA. If you’ve successfully handled Texas Bar grievances before and can keep large civil-litigation files impeccably ordered, let’s talk.
