Specialist Standard of Care Letter
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need a board-certified internist to give a clear, defensible opinion on whether my recent internal-medicine appointment met the accepted standard of care. I will supply all relevant records—office notes, labs, imaging reports—in PDF the moment we begin.
Your task is to review those materials, reference the appropriate clinical guidelines, and draft a one- to two-page statement (on your professional letterhead) that:
• identifies the specific elements of the encounter you reviewed
• cites the relevant standards or evidence-based guidelines
• explains, in plain language suitable for legal or insurance purposes, where the care diverged from those standards
The final letter must be signed, dated, and include your credentials and license number; a brief CV for context is welcome as an appendix. Please keep patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements in mind throughout. Having prior medical-legal experience is a plus, but clarity and sound clinical reasoning are what matter most.
If you can deliver a draft within a week of receiving the records and are willing to revise once for accuracy or tone, let’s talk.
