Restaurant Compliance Consultant
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
I'm seeking a UK-based freelance consultant to guide me through the legalisation and compliance for a new takeaway/small restaurant in England.
I need support with:
• Checking what activities are legally allowed in my commercial unit (planning use class, licenses, permitted layout)
• Food business registration with the local council
• Licensing requirements (alcohol, late hours, signage, takeaway, etc.)
• Food hygiene regulations, HACCP, allergen compliance
• Ensuring my layout, seating, counter, and food service setup meet legal standards
• Guidance on business structure (LTD + partner agreement)
• Support with preparing for Environmental Health inspections
Ideal freelancer:
• Has direct experience with UK food business compliance
• Understands council rules and FSA (Food Standards Agency) expectations
• Can offer practical, step-by-step advice (not just theory)
This is a startup project, and I’m hands-on involved in both kitchen and business side, so I need someone clear, direct, and experienced.
