Read case background then find a Lawyer for it
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Note that this is a job post for someone to find a solicitor, not a job post for a solicitor. In fact candidates do not necessarily need to know anything about law.
I need assistance finding a qualified solicitor or barrister for a negligence case.
The job is as much about reading and understanding, as it is a long and lengthy case. You will not begin to search for a solicitor until you have completed the background reading, for which you will be allowed as much time as you need. The reading may take up as much if not more time than the search.
Therefore someone fluent in English who reads a lot is preferred, as the prior reading is as much part of the job as the search. Salesmanship is preferred also, in order to then sell the case to a solicitor.
Important note: your bid is 30% reading, 70% finding a solicitor to take the case. Two milestones will be created, with a 70/30 split in the amount of your bid. To receive the full bid amount, both tasks must be completed. The successful candidate must be prepared to walk away with only 30% if they complete the reading yet fail to find a solicitor.
Having said that, reading is an unmeasurable task, and therefore reliability matters more than in most job posts, and candidates will be screened for this.
