Queens NYC - Civil Suit Filing for Assault Case

I need assistance filing a lawsuit against a business organization for assault, battery, injury, and harassment.

I understand this case cannot be taken on contingency I am glad to pay. This man threatens to rape my wife and kill me. We are being terrorized. Please help me put up a legal shield to defend myself and recover lost money for doctors, pain and suffering.

A housing dispute occurred with Landlord over repairs after 16 months of asking, police respond to arguments several times. Fire and EMT as well, about 6 incidents. Police refuse to trespass, he doesn't live here and has no legitimate reason to be here but they just won't get involved no matter what he says or does.

After Police leave he stands behind door of private entrance and says "Robbbeeert, when you go to work I am going to come in and visit your wifffffeee....nothing you can do about it!" Police told me because he didn't say specifically Kill or Rape your wife that it is not harrassment.....

I caught him on video performing unlicensed electrical work on 1/8/26 at 1:45 pm which the Department of Buildings was already fining him for, so he charged my car full speed and attacked me, grasping arm and phone(my video ends here to call 911). He sprints around to driver's door and tries to pull me out and beat me. All injuries sustained fighting him off, closing door. Cops never watched both vids, only half/half so they called it an "argument"...

At the time of the incident the police refused to arrest him due to no bleeding or bruising. I also did not feel the injuries immediately. They said it would be harassment and lied to me saying I could get an OO Protection. I reported the injuries and asked for a Sgt the next morning on advice from HPD attorney. They refused to review, sent original officers who spread more lies to make me shut up. I filed a CCRB complaint. The Next day refused OOP at courthouse because no arrest. I am working on collecting all body cam and house cam video as well as the 911 call to overlap all videos and present this to the DA for review and upgrading of the charges. That is what I am working on.

As you can see I am stuck and really need help. Police won't help. Housing court can't do anything except maybe get an OOP and MAYBE get a DA review of the assault. Meanwhile this sick man has keys to my home! I need to put up a legal wall and defend my family. I am in psychotherapy over all of this, nightmares with sweats, loss of sleep, etc. I can pay. This is not about money for me. I need justice and security for my family!

I can feel it in my bones that filing Civil Suit will be the card that takes down the house and trigger an agreement. This will never go to trial.

What I do NOT have yet but working on:
1 - 2nd half of the assault video which we have a Subpoena issued and expect footage delivered by 4/15. This footage is also on the officer's body cam which I will Foil Request. This shows him running around the car to pull me out of the vehicle.
2 - reports for comparison of hip MRIs before and after the assault which the Doctor says is "worse" but he is not board certified and will say no more. I am seeking a new Specialist for this report
3 - my spine surgeon reviewed comparisons and found no new injury but will advocate for the pain and suffering I endured through his exam after the assault and 13 year history with my spine. I do not have an official report but can get it.

There were several MRIs and scans done, several doctor visits, urgent care, PT, OT and more that will need to go through the subrogation process as well. For now things have been covered but insurance will also need to be made whole. My PT says it will be at least another year before properly recovered from Hip and Back aggravation. My finger may never fully heal based on size of lump and degree of the slip permanently impacting my vocational value. Disfigured finger in a client facing position could be impactful to my value as well.
