We are an insurance company and request a qualified lawyer in The Philippines legal system to provide advice on the following queries:

1) General overview of how the Philippine legal system works

2) How independent is the legal system? (From Government)

3) Specific to the insurance industry context. What are the chances of the policy wording effectively being disregarded in the event of a claim? For example would the policy wording contract be considered and respected or not?

4) Some examples of any practical experience of litigating a case in the Philippines would be really useful (or negotiating a claim in the Philippines).

5) Some more information on what the remedies are for insurance companies for non-disclosure, fraud, etc.,

6) Some more information on arbitration e.g. is The Philippines members of the New York convention (or any others)?,
