Paralegal projects
Budget: $10 – $15 USD
I am looking for a paralegal or attorney who can assist me with basic legal procedures in the area of law I am dealing with. Although I am not sure yet about the specific documents, I would like this project to be completed within 1-2 weeks. The work involves following prescribed procedures for appealing to a US State the lack of disclosure by a town in that state to public records requests.
Towns are required by law to provide all public records within 10 days of a written request. When a town fails to produce those records, a simple appeal must be sent to the state supervisor, who will then make sure the town acts. So the task here is to learn how to write such an appeal and provide that to me.
These appeals will need to be filed periodically as new requests for records become delayed.
