New York Attorney Needed for Subpoenas and adding a defendant in an ongoing case

We are seeking an experienced attorney to assist with filing subpoenas and adding a defendant in an ongoing legal case. Our previous lawyer has become unresponsive, causing delays in an otherwise straightforward process. The defendants in this case were served over five months ago at their last known address, provided no response or opposition in the case and are suspected of having fled the country.
Currently RJI has been filed and the clerk is waiting on the necessary subpoenas for the judge to execute them. It’s a relatively small/ simple matter with the upside of long term potential with our company as a trusted legal representative. The ideal candidate is a sharp lawyer who can move swiftly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file subpoenas to obtain electronic communications.
- Coordinate with the court clerk and submit all necessary documents as required.
- Add a defendant to the case in compliance with relevant laws and procedures.
- Ensure that all filings are done promptly to avoid further delays in the legal process.
- Communicate regularly with our team regarding case progress and any requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards and best practices throughout the process.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Experience with civil litigation, specifically in filing subpoenas and handling LLC representation.
- Strong understanding of state court procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to respond quickly to inquiries.
- Proven track record of managing cases efficiently, especially under time constraints.
