Need a lawyer (Legal Representation) for current case before US District Court of Northern Georgia
Budget: $175 – $225 USD
My name is Ajeenah Crittendon and I live in California.
My niece who lives in Decatur GA filed a lawsuit against me and my company alleging that I filed a Fraudulent 1099-Misc. against her.
I received SUMMONS in mail on Feb. 18th. I had until March 11th to submit an Answer. I have made several attempts to secure legal counsel unsuccessfully.
Due to the fact that time was of the essence I emailed the opposing attorney a request of time (3 wks.) in order for me to get an attorney in place, but he denied my request, so I moved forward and prepared and submitted my Answer, Pro Se on March 10th.
I am aware that attorneys like to submit their own Answer, however I did not want to be in Default with the Court, so I got on record with my Answer that included 'Exhibits'.
The allegations and arguments in the lawsuit are False. There was no Fraud with the issuance of the 1099-Misc.
The 1099-MIsc., was issued in Good Faith.
Internal Revenue Service has procedures and regulations as it pertains issuing 1099-Misc., as well as procedures for tax filers to follow if they feel the 1099-Miscs., W2s and/or 1099-Rs.
The lawsuit is asking the court to put in place an Injunction as it pertains to the 1099-Misc.
The Court has scheduled a Hearing for March 22nd to hear Oral Arguments.
I received a copy of the Judge's Order in the mail on Wednesday, March 16th which states, "The parties should note that pursuant to Rule 65(a)(2) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the Court hereby advances the trial on the merits and consolidates it with the preliminary injunction hearing.
I am in need of legal representation ASAP.
Can you connect me with one of your lawyers who is willing to represent me and my business regarding this matter?
