I am looking for an experienced criminal lawyer to assist me in the Malaysian jurisdiction. The areas of assistance is that a person has been taken to Police Station ( ICD Brickfields, KL) on allegation of handling fake currency but unsure if any charges made. She went in on 28/10 at 6pm and is still being interviewed i think.
The victim says she was trapped in assisting with the matter but did not benefit. Although I do not need legal representation in court, I would still prefer to have the option for in-person meetings when discussing my case regarding checking with the Police. Therefore, I am looking for an experienced criminal lawyer with knowledge of Malaysian criminal law that I can easily communicate with and who can provide me with the support I need to ensure that my friend's rights are protected. is she not able to get probono free legal advice? Should the Police not inform her of her rights?
