A month ago, I originally agreed to my husband's absolute divorce petition that he handed to me personally. I was not formally served, yet I was bullied into filing a response stating that I was in agreement with his petition.
This was almost a month ago. I was formally served as of 7/3/2021. I would like time to seek proper counsel, as I no longer agree with the petition. However, my initial response is still on file. My husband plans to go to the courthouse tomorrow to get a court date based on the initial response that I gave a month ago. How should I proceed in filing a request to have additional time to file an amended response?
