Legal Advice on NDA Breach
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am currently in a situation where I sent some confidential documents to my personal email and my company got wind of this. The documents are considered confidential and they informed me that I have breached the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
I sent those files before I exit the company due to redundancy, merely keeping those files as my personal reference.
The company wrote me a letter and asking me to do a statutory declaration that I had deleted those files and return the signed copy commissioner for oath witness.
Will the company can still take legal action against me and affect my severance payment?
I am in need of legal advice to navigate this issue.
The ideal person for this job would have:
- Expertise in employment law, business law, specifically NDA cases.
- Demonstrable experience handling similar situations.
- Excellent communication skills.
The task at hand is urgent, so prompt responses will be appreciated. Thank you.
