Ivory Coast Business Verification
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
This assignment covers three due-diligence steps for a single company registered in Côte d’Ivoire. The goal is to confirm the firm’s legitimacy, governance, and contracts between 2-3 companies.
Scope of work
• Company registry search – Pull the most recent extract from the Registre du Commerce et du Crédit Mobilier (RCCM) and any related court or gazette notices. The report must highlight ownership structure, current operational status, and any listed legal disputes.
• Direct phone verification – Place a call to a senior company representative using a verifiable business line. Confirm registered address, names of directors, and day-to-day business activity. Record the time, date, contact name, and key statements.
• Contract validation – Review the draft contract I supply and cross-check every corporate detail against the registry extract and call findings. Flag discrepancies in names, registration numbers, signatory authority, or governing law clauses, then provide a short risk memo.
Acceptance criteria
1. Registry documents are sourced from an official or certified channel and delivered in PDF plus a brief English summary.
2. Phone-call log includes direct quotes and contact details sufficient for audit purposes.
3. Contract memo clearly states “Match” or “Mismatch” for each section, followed by recommended next steps.
French proficiency and local familiarity with Ivorian corporate procedures are essential; legal or compliance background is a plus. All findings must remain confidential and be submitted within five business days.
