Introductory letter of acceptance for LOI (letter of intent) in purchase of our business

Job ID: 31435828

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

We are selling an assisted living residence we have owned for decades to
another group of good standing . They will be looking over our facility and
its operations for the next 60 days . We have picked this group over another
due to what we believe are better standards in regard to residents and staff .
I think the letter should express our interest in their choice possibly and
should we arrive at a mutual agreement our interest in helping them achieve
their goals .
The sale is broken into two parts . The first part now would be purchase of the
property short term and the second part is the operation of the business itself
being run by the new purchaser for 18 to 24 months to acquire the license from
the DOH at which time they would close on the business part . We would hold the
license and liability until that close and they would take on any profit or loss during
that time .
The introductory letter I believe need only to be short and I am uploading a draft
for your examination . I am thinking this particular draft written from other than myself
may fall outside certain business boundaries and leads to undue expectations .
I may be wrong totally and it is good or it just needs some tweeking or etc..
Another part to this is the owners (us) are Jewish while the interested party are
Orthodox Jews .
I just read the draft again and it may be my feeling that the superlatives
may be too much .
Here is the draft , the business names are omitted :

Dear Michael and Robert ,

It is with greatest pleasure that The ______ ______ accepts this initial LOI as an expression
of our mutual interest in pursuing the sale of our facility to _A_______ . We believe _A_______,
in its ongoing commitment to the highest quality of life for its residents , is a mirror
of The ____ ______ 's approach in serving our community .

We are prepared to partner you in all ways necessary to insure a successful transition
of The ____ ____ into the A_____ ______ community .

Sincerely

There is always a chance that issues arise during what is known as due diligence .
The draft writer does not work within the facility (maybe 2 hours a week) daily like myself so I'm always exposed to much problem solving concerning the operation and also
structural issues that might arise as well . This is a huge task and I might be somewhat
burnt out , so much for my sense of caution .
