Hi telling my case as a timeline
2014 Dec My mother was a green holder and applied (I-130) for me. At the time I was 20 years old.
2015 March the case was approved and I was still 20 years old at the time
We were not aware at the time that the I-130 was approved ( I could apply for the green card) rather we thought that approved means the processing of my application has started. Our lawyer at the time told us to wait for the appropriate processing times.
After over 6 years I wanted to check the status and found out that March 2015 the case was approved . Now I am 27 years old, and I was wondering if the approved I-130 is still a valid document to apply for Ds-260?
For the project I need some legal advice on:
whether this is still active or not?
Can we use that I-130 form to apply for green card now?
What should my next steps be?
