Harassment Lawsuit Against Employer
Budget: $1,000 – $10,000 USD
I need a lawyer to file a harassment lawsuit against my boss. This is an urgent matter and requires immediate attention.
Key Requirements:
- Expertise in employment law
- Experience with harassment cases
- Ability to file suit ASAP
- Strong negotiation skills
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in similar cases
- Excellent communication and legal research skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
Please provide a detailed plan and timeline.
I have worked in coaching competitive sports for 17 years. I joined an organization that doesn't have any "written" or "defined" rules regarding personal social media posts.
Yet, over the last 3 weeks, I have been informed that a "social media" meme or post of mine has VIOLATED their policies. And unless I changed my profile name, picture and account status, that I will be terminated.
The story and reasoning was well "Highschool" employees talked, shared and have complained about some posted content. Content that was not specifically shared on what precisely, all generalized statements. My profiles are sent to private. OLD posts are public and without knowing exactly what post, I can't address it.
I can't go through 14 years of posts and change them without knowing what is the problem? Is it last week, or from a year or 10 years ago.
What upsets me is the lack of clarification and the lack of truly defined rule/policy or precise post.
As well, keeping in mind that unless a "minor" aged employee is lying on her age for that said Social media platform, by having an adult aged profile, they can't view adult profiles any other way.
I'm wondering, as every state, local and federal law is different, what my rights are as an employee? Especially if I am the only one being held to UNDEFINED criteria by unwritten policies.
No one should be stalking social media and saying or limiting or controlling what is posted privately.
Yet my employment status has been threatened on multiple occasions already.
