Here is what I expect from the engagement:
• Review (or create, if missing) our current breach-response policy and incident-logging procedure.
• Draft the template notification letters required for patients, HHS, and—when thresholds are met—the media.
• Provide a short decision tree my staff can use to determine whether an event is reportable.
• Walk me through storage, retention, and encryption recommendations that reinforce the policy.
