Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced legal discovery lawyer to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FRCP Rules 30 (Depositions by Oral Examination), 33 (Interrogatories to Parties), 34 (Producing Documents, Electronically Stored Information, and Tangible Things), and 45 (Subpoena), and be proficient in handling large document flows to create exhibits and issue portfolios.

Responsibilities:

- Use FRCP Rules 30, 33, 34, and 45 to obtain documents from parties in litigation
- Prepare exhibits for Rule 30 depositions
- Issue deposition notices
- Draft interrogatories and responses
- Request and send document requests and subpoenas
- Assemble documents into exhibits and issue portfolios
- Utilize AI-based tools (to be provided) to enhance workflow

Requirements:

- Extensive knowledge of FRCP Rules 30, 33, 34, and 45, and ESI concepts
- Experience in litigation teams and managing large document flows
- Proficiency in creating exhibits and issue portfolios
- Strong drafting skills for interrogatories, document requests, and subpoenas
- Highly skilled in office and legal software, with interest in using AI
- Fluent in English
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school

Preferred Qualifications:

- U.S.-trained lawyers preferred, but candidates based abroad considered based on English fluency and experience

Compensation:
$20-70 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with potential for long-term contract based on performance
