Family Law Case Management Support
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
I’m looking for a detail-oriented paralegal who can step in and keep a busy family law matter running smoothly from start to finish. Your main focus will be case management, and that breaks down into three core responsibilities:
• Preparing court documents – draft petitions, declarations, motions and simple orders in a format ready for my review and electronic filing.
• Client communication – relay updates, collect missing information or signatures, and maintain a professional, compassionate tone with every interaction.
• Case file organization – build and maintain a logical folder structure (digital and, when needed, physical), label evidence clearly, and track deadlines so nothing slips.
You should already be familiar with family court rules, local filing procedures, and basic tools such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, and practice-management software like Clio or MyCase. Confidentiality, accuracy, and prompt turnaround are essential; I’ll expect regular status reports and the flexibility to jump on urgent requests when hearings are set on short notice.
