I'm seeking an experienced fiscal compliance consultant to guide me through the German certification and regulatory requirements for launching a cloud-based Point of Sale (POS) system in the German market. I currently operate a successful cloud POS solution in Greece in partnership with Viva, who has recently acquired fiskaltrust (a German fiscal compliance provider).
Project Scope
Primary Objectives:
Provide a comprehensive assessment of all required certifications and compliance requirements for our cloud POS system to legally operate in Germany
Create a detailed roadmap for obtaining these certifications
Advise on technical requirements to meet KassenSichV regulations
Guide the implementation of proper fiscal procedures
Specific Deliverables:
Complete certification checklist for a cloud-based POS system in Germany
Detailed explanation of all required documentation and processes
Timeline and cost estimates for the certification journey
Guidance on working with fiskaltrust solution (already in partnership through Viva)
Recommendations for necessary technical adjustments to meet German regulations
Required Expertise
Essential Experience:
In-depth knowledge of KassenSichV (German Cash Register Security Ordinance)
Practical experience with TSE (Technical Security Device) implementation
Understanding of DSFinV-K (Digital Interface of Financial Administration for Cash Register Systems)
Experience with the fiskaltrust platform and its certification procedures
Background in cloud-based POS systems and their fiscal compliance
Previous experience helping international companies enter the German market
Additional Requirements:
Fluent in English (German knowledge is a plus)
Available for online consultations over the next 2-3 months
Ability to provide documentation in English
Experience with BSI certification procedures
Understanding of GDPR compliance related to POS systems
