Employment Lawyer NEEDED ASAP

I need help. Maybe a demand letter? I worked as a Product Development and Operations Intern this past summer for a company called Realm. Realm is on track to be the world's first safety certified and non-toxic air freshener. My boss, Ashley, had promised me $1000/wk (25/hr) for the 3 month long internship. I noticed after the 2nd week that I had not received my payment and I nicely asked her when I could expect to be paid. She had said that the funding was late and she needs to wait until the start of the 3rd week to pay me. These deadlines went on longer and longer each week. Here we are now, October 28th, and I have been paid $0 and I am owed $7,075. I have tried to plead with her so many times to no avail. She is evil. I want to pursue maximum damages and interest. The company is based in Los Angeles, but I worked remotely in Philadelphia. I believe I can use a lawyer that is allowed to practice in either state. Please help. I have many screenshots, documents, etc. to use as evidence.
