Divorce Process Guidance in Norway

I'm residing in Norway and seeking legal advice to navigate a potential divorce. My husband is an American citizen and residing in USA. He has asked me to sign divorce documents online . I have no knowledge of how divorce laws and divorce process in USA works . So I need guidance on how to go trough this process and to avoid things that will make trouble for me. I want to be sure what I am signing for in the documents.
I'm uncertain whether my divorce will be contested or uncontested, so I'm looking for guidance in understanding the different processes and implications of each.
The primary support I'm seeking is related to legal advice. I need someone experienced in divorce law in USA, and all the challenges that comes with the fact that I am residing in Norway while my husband is residing in USA. I need someone who can:
- Provide an overview of the divorce process in USA. Especially when it comes to online divorce process.
- Explain the implications of different types of divorce including online divorce process. And how to know if the divorce will be finalized after signing the divorce documents or if it will be needed to go trough a zoom court meeting before the process is finalized.
- Offer guidance on the steps I should be taking.
- Answer any legal questions that arise during the process
-Help me to find out how to make sure i can get apostille stamp on my divorce certificate after the divorce is finalized so that I can get the divorce approved internationally and in my own country Norway.
The ideal freelancer for this project will have:
- Proven experience in divorce law in USA and hopefully also know something about law pertaining to person outside USA that are married to America cans and are going trough a divorce process. And that knows how to get apostille stamp on the divorce certificate.
- Strong communication skills.
- Empathy and sensitivity to the emotional aspects of the situation
