About Us:We are seeking an experienced UK-based Contract Lawyer to support our legal needs by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of agreements. We require a legal professional with expertise in UK contract law to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and protect our business interests.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to:
Client agreements
Supplier/vendor contracts
Partnership agreements
Employment and independent contractor agreements
Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
Provide legal advice on contractual obligations, risks, and liabilities.
Ensure all agreements comply with UK laws and regulations.
Identify potential legal issues and recommend proactive solutions.
Assist in contract disputes and resolution strategies if needed.
Maintain and update contract templates as per legal best practices.
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor in the UK with a specialization in contract law.
Strong knowledge of UK business and commercial law.
Experience working with startups/SMEs (preferred but not required).
Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly/day rate or project-based fee, depending on experience.
