After completing your business degree you recently commenced working at a professional consulting services firm called “E-class Consulting” in the State or Territory in which you are undertaking your studies. Your firm wants you to interview a client who is seeking advice on what business structure to adopt for their business. You must prepare the following (1) a report; and (2) a memorandum of advice (instructions are below).
To complete this task you must interview a fictitious client (which can be a family member, a friend, a colleague, or anyone who wants to start a business) about a fictitious business or a business which they have been thinking of starting. You must obtain information about the client’s business from asking the client questions, and that information needs to be useful in informing what business structure is most suitable for their business. Remember to let them know that this is a University assignment, so the exercise is only for educational purposes and you are not qualified to give any advice.
