Bank Account Civil Compensation Advocate -- 2

I am looking to engage an advocate based in Salem, Tamil Nadu, to file a civil suit for
compensation against a bank for wrongful and prolonged freezing of my account.
Case Background:
- My bank account was frozen for approximately over 5 months based on an alleged cybercrime
complaint.
- The bank claimed that the freeze was initiated on instructions from the police (NCRP complaint).
- However, through an RTI response obtained from the Delhi Cyber Cell, it was confirmed that no formal freeze order was issued.
- I had shared this RTI response with the bank, yet the bank continued to keep
my account frozen.
- The bank repeatedly insisted that a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the police was mandatory to unfreeze the account.
- Despite multiple attempts, the Investigating Officer did not respond to my requests for an NOC.
- Eventually, the bank unfroze my account without obtaining any NOC, shortly after legal notice and court proceedings.
High Court Proceedings:
- I filed a writ petition before the Delhi High Court.
- During the proceedings, the bank unfreezed my account.
- The court disposed of the petition noting that the account was defreezed and left all rights and contentions open, granting liberty to pursue appropriate remedies for compensation.
Impact and Damages:
- Severe financial hardship
