NY Attorney Needed for Pre-Trial Proceedings
Budget: $50,000 – $0 USD
I'm looking for a New York licensed attorney who can immediately take over my three personal injury cases from the original attorney who is now very ill and cannot complete what has been started.
- Case Stage: The cases are currently at the pre-trial motions stage.
for one of the cases: it’s a fraud based claim supported by a Federal Trade Commission investigation. The multi-location car dealer sold me a vehicle as a “certified pre owned” product and at no time gave notice of the defect that caused my permanent disability. Such conduct was the focal point of the FTC investigation and its ultimate findings against the car dealership.
for the second case: This is a strict liability claim. The state of New York, partnering with CarFax, is the first state of those requiring annual inspections to give vehicle owners notice of manufacturer/NTSBA recalls. The state legislation was enacted before my vehicle’s annual safety inspection and designed to prevent the precise type of injury that I sustained.
- Case Progress: The pre-trial motions have been filed but not yet argued.
The ideal candidate should:
- Be able to navigate the legal systems of WDNY, Buffalo, and Erie County NY.
- Have experience in personal injury law and/or liability.
- Be proficient in arguing pre-trial motions and prepared to take the cases to the trial stage if necessary. One of the cases is close to settling out of court.
Your immediate task will be to review the cases and the filed pre-trial motions, formulate an argument strategy, and represent me for the proceedings.
No existing contract with the original attorney who is aware of my search and ready to hand over the reins from what was already started. The attorney who takes over is entitled to the full contingent percentage that you ask for, whether it’s 33%, 40%, etc.
