Software Patent Application Drafting

Job ID: 39823732

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have created a novel piece of software and am ready to move ahead with a full utility patent application. I need a registered patent attorney or agent to transform my technical concept into a polished, USPTO-ready filing. You will handle every section—specification, claims (independent and dependent), abstract, summary, and any required drawings—so the application is complete, defensible, and properly formatted for electronic submission.

Key points you should know
• My invention is purely software-based, so familiarity with recent Alice/Mayo guidance and best practices for demonstrating technical improvement is essential.
• I can provide source-level details, use-case scenarios, and system architecture diagrams upon engagement.
• I expect guidance on claim strategy (method, system, and computer-readable medium) plus recommendations on whether to pursue provisional versus non-provisional first.

Deliverables
1. Draft utility patent application in Word and PDF, fully citation-checked and ready for filing.
2. Formal drawings compliant with USPTO standards (vector format preferred).
3. Claim set annotated with explanatory notes that justify patentability.
4. A short cover memo outlining next steps, timelines, and any follow-up information the USPTO may request.

Acceptance criteria
• Claims avoid obvious subject-matter eligibility rejections for software.
• Application includes at least one independent claim and a reasonable array of dependents.
• No formality errors that would trigger a notice to correct.

If you have recent success shepherding software patents through examination, I would value seeing the public patents or serial numbers. Confidentiality is non-negotiable; I will supply an NDA upon award.
