Proofread Legal Research Papers

Job ID: 40195407

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I have several law-related research papers and journal-style articles that are ready in draft form and now need a sharp legal eye to edit and proofread them. Because the texts discuss legal concepts, precedents and statutory references, I want someone who has formal training in law or substantial legal practice experience; a general editor will miss the nuances.

Your task is to:

• read each manuscript line by line, correcting grammar, punctuation, and structure without diluting the legal meaning;
• flag any ambiguous or unsupported assertions, suggest tighter wording, and ensure terminology is used consistently;
• verify that citations and quotations are accurately reproduced and formatted in the standard legal citation style indicated inside each file;
• deliver the revised documents in Word with Track Changes on, plus a clean copy ready for submission.

Most papers run between 3,000–8,000 words, and I will send them in batches so we can review feedback together as we go. If you are comfortable working under short turnaround times and can demonstrate your law background (JD, LLB, or current legal practice), I would love to collaborate.
