Mandamus Petition Against USCIS

Job ID: 39922778

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

My immigration application has been stuck at USCIS far beyond normal processing times, and I’m ready to push forward with a writ of mandamus. I want a practitioner who already knows federal district court procedure and immigration litigation to prepare everything I need to compel USCIS to fulfill its duty and approve the pending case.

Scope
• Research the most appropriate federal venue and confirm jurisdiction and standing.
• Draft a clear, well-supported verified complaint for mandamus and APA relief, citing relevant statutes, regulations, and recent case law.
• Prepare the civil cover sheet, summons, and any ancillary documents the clerk will require.
• Provide step-by-step e-filing or paper-filing instructions, including guidance on service of process to the U.S. Attorney, Attorney General, and agency counsel.
• Supply a concise cover letter I can send to USCIS once the suit is filed, alerting them and encouraging prompt resolution.

What I’ll provide
Receipt numbers, filing history, supporting evidence of delay, and any correspondence already exchanged with the service center.

Deliverable format
Word or editable PDF for all pleadings, plus a single reference sheet outlining deadlines, filing fees, and next steps.

Experience I value
Federal bar admission, prior mandamus wins against USCIS, and familiarity with PACER/ECF filing.

Timeline
I’d like a polished, ready-to-file package within ten days of award so I can submit immediately.

If you can also enter a limited appearance or fully represent me after filing, let me know your separate fee—otherwise a complete pro se toolkit that meets court standards is all I need.
