Legal Manuscript Editing and Formatting
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
My 81,000-word legal manuscript is ready for a thorough makeover, and I also have 34,000 additional words that must be woven in seamlessly. Everything needs to emerge as a single, submission-ready document that satisfies the following objectives:
• Apply general Bluebook 21st Edition rules to every citation and footnote, re-formatting the entire text so headings, tables, and numbering stay perfectly consistent.
• Merge the 34,000-word supplement into the main file without disrupting structure or flow, updating cross-references as you go.
• Run a deep similarity check and rephrase or re-cite where needed to bring overlap down to an acceptable academic level while minimising AI-detection flags.
• Proofread line by line: grammar, punctuation, style, and tonal consistency from start to finish.
• Verify all internal cross-references, figure labels, and table citations.
• Deliver a polished Word document with Track Changes plus a clean PDF ready for submission.
Acceptance criteria
1. Footnotes conform to Bluebook 21st Edition with no outstanding style warnings.
2. Overall similarity score documented before and after edits, showing a substantial reduction.
3. No AI-detection red flags on the final text (I will run it through GPTZero and one other tool).
4. All edits visible in Track Changes; final PDF free of mark-ups.
5. Every section reads as one coherent voice.
