LEGAL SERVICES - CALIFORNIA ATTORNEY NEEDED

Small property developer has an Immediate need for a California attorney to review and file a Second Amended Complaint (SAC) in the Eastern District of California, i.e. - not later than March 5. The amended Complaint is in final form, but needs review prior to filing with your name on it. This case concerns theft of professional services (real estate leasing commissions) and was previously arbitrated. Property owner refuses to comply with arbitration result. Motion for specific performance will follow settlement of pleadings and then discovery. Other work is also immediately available. Ideally, initial success will evolve into long-term relationship.

Key components of the initial work:
- Review and finalize the SAC for proper allegations, claims, and remedies
- File the SAC before the March 5 deadline
- Review and finalize draft of motion for specific performance
- File case management documents
- Begin discovery
- File case management documents Identify need for experts
- Re-write Rule 60 motion to set aside judgement for fraud on court



Ideal candidate would be:
- Experienced in California tort law including fraud;
- Excellent in pre-trial discovery/deposition
- Experienced in federal court
- Willing to build litigation team as need arises
- Open to long-term relationship
